Beacon Status

Macclesfield College and LZ6 have been recognised by the Quality Improvement Agency (QIA) for its excellence in teaching, learning and leadership and been designated with the prestigious award of Learning and Skills Beacon status.

 

Positive about Disabled People

The Disability Symbol is issued by Jobcentre Plus in recognition of employers who have agreed to meet commitments regarding the recruitment , employment, retention, and career development of disabled people.

By using the Symbol, LZ6 and the College hopes to make it clear to disabled people that it welcomes job applications from all sections of the community and will focus on applicants' abilities.

The Investors in Careers award is a nationally recognised quality standard for the management of careers education. It is a recognised symbol for excellence and helps to highlight the relevance of LZ6 and the College's activities to the world or work along with promoting inclusiveness.
